No Excuses! by Dr. Wayne Dyer

No Excuses!: How What You Say Can Get In Your Way
No Excuses! by Dr. Wayne Dyer  is about a boy who almost lets excuses such as "It's too hard" stand in the way of following his dream...

The book teaches that excuses are "words that stop you from doing what you want, being what you want and having what you want."  By making a simple choice to pick thoughts that "feel good," children (and adults!) can get back on track to achieve the things their hearts desire.  Making a reminder list including items like " I am smart" and "I can make my dreams come true" can encourage anyone to pursue those dreams with confidence.

Dr. Dyer uses this simple story to teach kids how to keep their dreams alive. This book gives the reader a clear definition of  what "excuses" mean, how to identify them, and how to bypass them.  This is a lesson we could all use!

Tip: A workbook section at the end of the book includes a quiz that gives kids a great hands-on tool to identify excuses.

Sounds like a book with a good message and it seems like it would be a good reminder for the adults reading it too! I think I'll get it for my 5 year old nephew for his birthday. Thanks for the recommendation.
